🔻Sword Core Melee Whiff
Bug involving your sword core melees not hitting the titan.
There are several things responsible for missing melees in sword core. But generally, sword core melee whiff refers to the ability for your melee to not register a hit on the Titan, despite visually hitting them.
Things Causing This Bug (And Ways Around It)
Activating sword core mid-melee, before melee even hits the titan (despawns the melee before it even hits the titan; wait until the melee hits the titan before activating core).
Pressing the “fire” key or holding the “fire”/“melee” key during sword core activation (tap the “melee” key instead).
Holding the “fire”/“melee” key during a melee, your next melee will whiff (tap the “fire”/“melee” key instead).
Holding the “fire”/“melee” key while using arc wave or sword block (tap the “fire”/“melee” key instead).
Prevention Method
Basically, the best way to avoid this bug entirely is to learn to always start the first sword core melee swing by pressing the “melee” key. After your first opening melee, you can tap the “melee” and “fire” keys any way you want, but do NOT hold the “melee” and “fire” keys during sword core at any point.
Furthermore, yeah, if you plan to activate a sword core mid-melee, let that melee first hit a titan; otherwise, it won't register. Unsure how Dinorush13 whiffed so many melees in a row in the video below.
