🟢Power Shot Upcycle and Salvage with Vortex

Exploiting a vortex hitscan bullet conversion feature in team play.

Vortex actually converts all hitscan bullets from enemy and friendly alike into a special bullet called vortex bullet. She can carry a total of 31 hitscan bullets and 31 projectiles at once. The vortex bullet deals a total of 140 damage (4,340 damage for the whole shield). Amped Vortex applies 35% more damage to vortex bullet, making it deal 189 damage (5,859 damage for full shield).

Power Shot fires a hitscan shotgun in a cone; it can hit as many titans as can fit in its range, and it also converts into up to 16 bullets when shot at the vortex. But it's special for vortex; the more of the vortex is in its range, the more bullets will get caught and transformed into vortex bullets.

Vortex cannot crit in exchange for having a longer reach than Power Shot, but hitting crits with Power Shot is inconsistent unless in long-range mode. Judging by the table, Power Shot and bullet damage increase when converted to vortex bullets, allowing for the ability to upcycle Power Shot, especially hidden compartment Power Shot.

But that's not everything. You could exploit this in a match by hitting the enemy with a Power Shot and your teammate's vortex from behind the enemy too, allowing for damage duplication. The Ion will get 1–16 bullets depending on obstruction of the vortex. For example, Legion Power-Shots and Ronin either blocks or phases. The moment Ronin unblocks, Ion shoots him from behind for Power-Shot-like damage for free. This definitely has a lot of strong team play potential.

Benefits of this Tech

• Vortex has a longer range than Power Shot.

• Vortex protects Ion fully from damage (can deal with peeking Northstars without needing to use a gun shield).

• Vortex can upcycle (make bullets deal more damage) Legion's / Monarch's bullets and Power Shots.

• Vortex can salvage Power Shots that were shot at an enemy for his own use or instant beat down.

• Vortex can stack up to 2 Power Shots worth of bullets for doubled burst damage.
