🟢Anti-Rodeo Phase Tech
Several ways to prevent rodeo damage.
There are several ways to prevent damage from enemy pilots when getting rodeoed; here are all the possible methods listed below.
Battery Dupe Phase
While in the phase dimension, you are fully invulnerable to damage, so even if an enemy pilot finishes rodeo inside the phase dimension, you'll take 0 damage, but the pilot will still get a battery and hop off. Which lets you kill the pilot and get a free battery.
This glitch is easily repeatable, so long as phase is present. If the pilot already has a battery, they'll simply deal no damage with the grenade animation and hop off, so long as you're in phase. During the battery dupe phase, you won't deal any damage to the enemy pilot.
Simply pay attention and listen for that distinct Ka Klung sound to end before phasing.
Damaging Pilots with Phase
This is a rare known thing, but if you either phase too early for battery dupe or an enemy phase pilot gets on your Ronin in phase, you'll deal 50 damage to them. It's because leaving the phase dimension with a pilot still rodeoing you will always apply 50 damage to them.
This can be utilized to eliminate pilots instantly if one would rather phase out early because they have to do it for other reasons. Or you just want to have a guaranteed kill on an enemy pilot if the pilot has already damaged at least half its HP.
As a side note, phase pilots can rodeo Ronin even if he's in phase, a cool little trick I wanted to show. The pilot didn't take any damage in the 2nd clip due to Ronin coming out of phase as the pilot was getting on. Listen for that distinct Ka Klung sound, and phase before that sound ends or even earlier to deal damage to the pilot.
Killing Pilots with Phase
When coming out of phase, you can not only kill pilots who jumped off you but also any pilots in general. You can do a backwards Battery Dupe Phase to kill pilots somewhat consistently. Climbing higher elevation or going up against the building also helps when phasing backwards.
The issue is, though, that only works against an AFK pilot; if the pilot is using any movement key, they'll escape a phase backed up by a wall. If they don't move but instead try to jump or not do anything at all, they'll get trapped and die. Similarly, for phasing backwards in the open, unless the pilot moves or jumps, they'll die.
Forcing Pilots off Rodeo ☣️
Very difficult to do glitch which literally instantly throws the enemy pilot off your back without them acquiring a battery nor damaging you, the timing for this glitch is very difficult to reliably replicate it. Until more information about it becomes clear, it's not recommended to rely on it.
