Different ways to get around the flame shield

There are several ways to pierce through flame shield. Unlike the vortex shield, the flame shield has an even smaller radius, making foot shots a lot more consistent. And compared to the vortex shield, doesn't have a stupid big hitbox against projectiles, making it actually possible to pierce his shield with projectiles too.

Here's a list of all the ways to do so:

• melee

• thermite droplets from T-203 thermite Launcher

• explosive damage

• splash damage

• electric smoke

• angled arc wave aimed at an exposed foot

• aiming for the feet directly

It's not as consistent to hit the toes because of the spread, but Legion's long-range mode and Powershots are incredible at piercing thermal shield.

Scorch can make it harder for an enemy to hit his feet, by crouching, but doesn't make him immune to it. Though, keep in mind that on top of being drastically slowed down, your top will get exposed to an enemy with a keen sight.

You can use the feet hitting feature to your advantage, you could try aiming for specific parts of the foot with an energy siphon or laser shot to go for a double hit
