ℹ️Disembark vs. Ejection
Basic and simple titan mechanics like disembarking, ejecting, melee pin... that can prove very useful to know
Titan Disembark
Exiting your titan has sometimes some niche and useful applications. Like the ability to reload your gun instantly or the ability to survive a smart core confrontation head on by turning away with your back to the legion and disembarking, right before your titan dies to survive and run away. Phase Embark is greatly recommended due to the massive time skip. But unlike no phase embark, you actually get a few secs delay before being able to re-embark. Without phase embark, the pilot is nearly unkillable when he disembarks and instantly re-embarks to pick up a battery; thus it's better to just go straight for the titan and not the pilot.
You can gain the following benefits from disembarking:
Reload your weapon instantly (Ion energy too)
Refresh your ability instantly or reduce the cooldown by a lot (example: gun shield, Amped Wall)
A survivable escape from smart core confrontation (face the Legion backwards and disembark right before your titan dies and flee without Legion locking on you)

Titan Eject
Ejecting has its benefits too. You can take advantage of the ability to destroy your titan earlier if you're in a none survivable situation, like getting trapped and massacred by several titans at once. Ejecting earlier, especially right before getting into doomstate can greatly reduce enemy titans' core gain. If a titan dooms you, they get 20% core for free!
You can gain the following benefits from ejecting:
Early eject to reduce enemies' ability to farm you for core
Class specific eject
Deal eject damage to enemy titan
*Abuse of damage immunity and fire animation continuation (ejecting while laser-coring, for example)
Class Specific Eject
You can make ejection safer by using: Holo Pilot + Pilot Hover: Using holo as soon as you eject and then instantly hovering allows you to duke the enemy. The hologram will maintain your momentum and keep on flying upwards while you hang behind. You don't have to use the entirety of hover, you can save some to use later up air to dodge rail gun shots or laser shots by hovering right before you think they'll fire to possibly miss them. Grapple Pilot: Grappling the floor as soon as you eject, not only will you quickly fly back down to the ground, but your hitbox will also desync making it a lot harder to get killed midair. Stim Pilot: Stimming as soon as you eject will greatly increase your eject velocity. Allowing you to strafe in midair (hold left or right direction key, and move your mouse to strafe), making it very difficult to shoot you down without a laser shot or charge rifle. Phase Pilot: Phasing midair (not necessarily right away unless it's a Legion with a power shot / smart core ready) will allow you to survive anything briefly, including a nuke in a closed area. Cloak Pilot + Low Profile: The best class for ejecting. Activate cloak as soon as possible and the only thing you have to do is throw down some satchels on the oblivious titan below, trying to find you. The biggest threat to this eject is power shot goose.
