# Welcome to the Titanfall 2 Handbook

## Titanfall 2 Handbook

Welcome to the competitive guide to everything about Titans, which includes tech, strategies, hidden info, and even competitive aspects. Eventually, it'll expand to more fields, like Pilots and enemy AI.

The handbook is still heavily WIP and was originally intended to be used only for the Last Titan Standing competitive scene, but it already offers [Frontier Defense speedrunning](/titanfall-2-handbook/speedrunning/frontier-defense.md) content too!\
\
This site is a fan project that is not affiliated with or endorsed by Electronic Arts or Respawn Entertainment. \
It's an unpaid (no ads, patrons and sponsors) work of passion for the game.

> The Handbook is a few year hobby project that is solely edited and maintained by Knightfire-rdp but built from his own and others' discoveries, testing, and knowledge shared across the Titanfall 2 community oriented around the competitive side of the game. \
> Many thanks to others mentioned in [Credits](/titanfall-2-handbook/welcome-to-the-titanfall-2-handbook/credits.md) page.

#### Quick Link to Titan Spawns Page

I expect frequent visitors to jump onto this page to quickly check the Titan spawns for Last Titan Standing mode.\

### Overview of Few Important Pages and Categories

Handbook Legend \
A page explaining the emote symbolization on pages and word terms; read it beforehand.

Table of Contents \
A whole-page overview of all pages and tabs, representative of the panel on the left side for selecting pages, makes navigating a lot easier.

General Titan Mechanics (Category) \
It shows in detail hidden info about Titan kits and explains things never mentioned in the game to you. Like the ability to dodge homing missiles, cancel enemy Titan melees, and how Titan abilities interact with each other. Of course all of those mechanics apply universally to all Titans unless mentioned otherwise.

Titan-Specific Tech and Guides (Category) \
It's a category that shows things that are exclusive to or centered mainly around said Titan. \
This category features the following.

* “(Titan name)” is a Titan folder, so for example, “Scorch” has content related ONLY to Scorch itself. Despite this, you might find Scorch content in General Titan Mechanics pages if it applies to multiple Titans and not just him. The following pages below are within this category.
 * “(Titan name)'s Arsenal” is a structured breakdown of everything the Titan has and how its weapons and abilities work.
 * “(Titan name) Index” is a fast lookup page for everything in the Handbook related to that Titan’s weapon, abilities, tech, and mechanics.
 * “(Titan name) Guides” is a folder that features “Tips,” “Written Guides,” and “Video Guides” pages. It's useful to learn how to actually play the Titan.
 * “(Titan name) Tech” consists of tech (glitches/mechanics) of said Titan but also has informational pages about something specific related to the Titan, like Monarch's arc rounds vs. defensive abilities.

Titan Competitive Stuff\
Worth reading if you're interested in things related to the competitive scene like callouts, map tech, Titan spawns, etc.
